If you don′t find the answer that you are looking for below then please email us at Info@FireFlyz.co.uk and we will be happy to discuss any details with you.
The prices can vary depending on many different things, such as how many performers you require, how many sets we are to do, travel expenses and duration of each set. Please get in touch with us via the contact details above or through the booking form and we will endeavour to get you an accurate quote as soon as we can.
Possibly! We are willing to tailor our performances to your event if you don′t want an off-the-shelf show, within reason! If you do want something tailored to your event then please make sure you give us as much notice as possible so that we can prepare.
...as soon as possible! Although if you do have a last minute event or a space in your line-up then please ask as we will try and accommodate you where ever possible.
Because of the huge variety of circumstances in which we perform we ask that you secure the necessary permits for your event. This usually requires approval from the venue as well as from the county council. If you require any safety documentation to obtain the permits then please contact us and we will be happy to forward them onto you. If you are unsure who to approach with regards to permits then please ask and we will try to help.
A definite YES! Each performer is individually insured to a minimum of £2,000,000 in public liability. Copies of the insurance and safety documentation are available on request.
Yes! It is common for us to receive minor burns during a fire performance (If you play with fire...) but as of yet due to our safety procedures and training we have never had a major incident.
If the performers travel to the event and then are prevented from performing due to weather conditions then we will charge up to the total amount quoted for. We will endeavour to find alternate areas to perform or to alter the performance to remove elements affected by the weather (e.g. stilts do not perform well on wet grass, sparks drift in high winds). The decision to halt the performance lies with the performers and fire marshals involved.
As a rough guide we require an area:
4m x 4m for a solo glow show
6m x 9m for a 3 person fire show
40m x 80m for a 2 person wire wool finale
Please contact us for a discussion on these areas if your venue has limited space.
Possibly, if you require more than one set or require a large number of performers then we would require a secure room to store equipment and change.
